The Watershed Trails, Pieksämäki The Watershed Trails in Pieksämäki combine the eskers, coniferous forests and swamp wildlife of the areas of Partaharju, Nikkarila and Tahinsuo. The total length of the route is 75 km, of which 40 km are suitable for mountain biking and 35 km for hiking. There is an accessible nature trail, which is a couple of kilometres long, and a manual cable ferry in the area. The trails have been marked out throughout with blue, reflective metal pipes.
