Jul 21–30 Joroinen Music Festival Atmospheric manor houses and grand churches are the heart of Joroinen Music Festival, but also other unique venues are used for unforgettable events. Spread across four villages, the festival has a diverse programme, including chamber music gems, modern concerts and children’s events. www.joroinenmusicfestival.fi Jul 22 Big Wheels & Savo Vintage Pieksämäki’s Big Wheels is one of Finland’s largest open-air classic car round-ups. The crowning spectacle is a massive car parade in the town center. The parade features classic cars of all kinds, with old American muscle in the majority. At the same time, Cultural Centre Poleeni hosts the Savo Vintage fair, a special event for vintage and retro culture fans, with fashion, nostalgia, and collection as its themes.
